Profile: David Harris

David Harris is a former Canadian litigation lawyer who specialized in employment law and workplace disputes. Over his decades-long legal career, he represented both employers and employees in wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, human rights, and occupational health and safety matters.

In addition, David founded Calgary Workplace Investigations, a firm dedicated to providing independent and legally sound workplace investigations throughout Alberta. His practice emphasized fairness, thoroughness, and compliance with evolving employment law standards.

David also mediates Employment Law & Human Rights Workplace Disputes.

Today, David continues to write, publish, and maintain Canadian Employment Law, a comprehensive online resource for employment law practitioners, HR professionals, and students.

David also runs a YouTube channel with video explanations and discussions on Canadian employment law topics.
